This game is absolutely as advertised. I got 30 seconds, what can you do?

One of my latest favorite websites

I spend a lot of time on the internet, and I mean A LOT. I see hundreds of websites each week. Some, I come back to day after day, others, fade away in to the obscurity of my “pending” folder or worse, only to be found later with a query “now what was that site again?”

However, I think this site is different. It’s a personal development site (cue groans) and I know, we’ve all had about enough of that. But this one is really different. This guy, well he just seems to get it. He doesn’t preach, he doesn’t pontificate, he just tells you what works for him. That’s it. If you can make it work for you, great. If you can’t, that’s okay too, at least you tried.

I found him on Lifehacker I think (another blog of note) writing about relaxifying (is that a word, oh who cares) your workspace. Since reading that I’ve added plants, scented candles and a fish tank to my office and I don’t want to leave!

Absolutely worth a click. Check him out. And if you read this, Steve…thanks.

One of my favorite sites

Abandoned-places.com is by far one of my favorite sites on the internet. I check it for updates frequently and not a month goes by that I don’t look at it again, even though I’ve seen it all before.

It’s authored by a Belgian airline pilot who is a very good photographer and enjoys exploring abandoned buildings.

The pictures are dark, ethereal and beautiful.

It’s a must see.
